With the summer months almost on us, here at Rhug we are excited about all the new products and ranges we have now got and hope that you will be as well. Colin our head butcher has brought with him from Scotland 20 years of experience and a catalogue of award winning sausages, everything from traditional pork sausage to spicy chorizo, the vast majority award winning recipes.
If it’s a BBQ you want then look no further than Rhug, steak, burgers, kebabs, or ribs, all produced using our award winning organic meat.
Jaquie, our shop manager has been equally busy introducing 400 more products since January alone, picking out ranges and products that are all high quality, and very tasty. A lot of these products are produced by small companies that have a real passion for food, we believe it really shows. Jaquie really hopes it will be a hot summer because we have just started selling delicious September Organics ice cream cones, made using thick organic double cream, organic free range eggs and high quality organic milk, and the taste……well simply sensational.
Not to be outdone Manon, our catering manager is working hard to ensure that even though we recently won ‘the BBC food and farming best take away in the UK’ award we don’t sit on our laurels and she and her team work very hard to make every product we produce the same high quality. Manon recommends the roast joint of the day bap for a real treat, hand finished by our butchers using the finest organic Rhug meat, cooked to perfection by our catering team and served hot on a tasty bread roll, what could be nicer.
