We are a leading organic farm located in North Wales, and we are continuing our commitment to sustainable practices and innovation.
We are well known for our high-quality, ethically sourced products, and we have been at the forefront of green agriculture for over two decades. Under the guidance of Lord Newborough, we have implemented numerous initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint and promote biodiversity.
Recent advancements include the installation of state-of-the-art, sustainably constructed steel accommodation for chickens, as well as the integration of solar farms, hydro turbines, and biomass boilers. These efforts complement our previous participation in the Welsh Government’s Glas Tir Entry and Advanced Schemes which has moved to the interim Habitat Wales Scheme.
Lord Newborough emphasised the importance of sustainability in the Estate’s operations: “Sustainability is the cornerstone of everything we do. We are proud to be a leader in organic farming and to contribute to a more sustainable future.”
In addition to its green initiatives, we have also made significant strides in improving our operational efficiency. These advancements include the introduction of hydrogen-powered delivery vans, electric forklifts, and regenerative agriculture practices.
Estate Farm Manager Emyr Owen expressed his pride in the Estate’s achievements: “We are dedicated to raising standards and embracing innovation. Our organic farm operation serves as a model for others in the industry.”
As Organic September draws to a close, we encourage consumers to embrace organic products and support sustainable farming practices. With a growing emphasis on health, sustainability, and conscious consumerism, the time for organic is now!
