Get cracking this Easter and head to Rhug where visitors can enjoy a walk around the farm while hunting out the questions on an Easter Egg Trail.

Visitors to Rhug can pick up an Easter Egg Trail Question sheet and Farm Walk Map from the Farm Shop; pop on their wellies or walking boots, and then head off around the Farm Walk in search of the Easter Eggs that will have all the questions on them.

As well as a chocolate prize for handing in a completed answer sheet at the Farm Shop, all sheets filled in correctly will be entered into a Rhug prize draw to win a chocolate hamper worth £50.

The Easter Egg Hunt is free of charge and will be available during the Farm Shop opening hours from the morning of Good Friday to the end of the day on Easter Monday with the Farm Walk taking approximately 45 minutes to complete.

Graham Webster, Managing Director of Rhug Ltd, said, “We hope visitors will enjoy this opportunity to take a walk around the farm where they should be able to see the sheep with their lambs aswell as the herd of Bison and of course the beautiful organically farmed countryside in this part of rural Denbighshire. Be sure to leave enough time after you complete the Walk to enjoy a meal in our Bistro and some shopping in the Farm Shop.”

The farm walk is predominately flat but the terrain underfoot will depend on the weather in the lead up to Easter. Rhug is recommending walkers wear boots or wellies to do the Easter Egg hunt. There will be livestock on the route as Rhug is a working farm. Dogs are welcome to walk with you but they must be kept on a lead at all times.

The Rhug Farm Shop and Bistro will be open for extended hours during the Easter weekend. Opening hours information, menus and the Rhug online shop are available on the website.
