The Countryside Alliance awards are open once again for 2017. This year will be the 13th year for the ‘Rural Oscars’ and we want you to help celebrate Rhug Estate with us by nominating us for an award!
Our magnificent 12,500 acres have evolved into an organic, sustainable and community supporting operation since the history of Rhug truly began in the 12th century.
We are now raising some of the most in demand meat in the the world. From our Organic Bronze Turkeys, gracing the tables of Michelin star restaurants, to our lean Organic Bison meat and game selection.
As well as our innovative agriculture operations, we have also developed a successful retail and dining presence at the estate, offering the community a place to come and experience something truly special.
The Rhug Estate farm shop offers a wide range of Organic & locally produced products such as Welsh Speciality Foods sought after Lemon Cheese and Conwy Brewery’s famous selection of Welsh ales.
The Bison Grill features an exquisite breakfast and main menu which use local ingredients and our own organic meat products. These are produced by our very own head chef, Elliot Knox who creates flavours your pallet won’t be able to resist.
For our passing travellers, we have our ‘On the Hoof‘ takeaway, offering a more casual experience without compromising quality. We are also a well place Britstop for those who find themselves in need of somewhere to stop for the night in their camper vans or towing caravans.
