The team at Rhug hosted the event which saw competitors go head-to-head in the traditional country activity, with all proceeds raised from entrance fees going towards the charity that provides support and special care for life-limited children and their families.

Lord Newborough commented: “Thank you to everyone who took part in our charity hedgelaying contest. Ty Gobaith is a wonderful charity and we are delighted to be able to contribute to the fantastic work they do. Hedgelaying is a traditional skill and it’s important that it’s protected for the future and we’d also like to say a special thank you to Greenlands Insurance Services for their generous sponsorship. I hope everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to hosting more events with Ty Gobaith in the future.”
