Our chef, Elliot has created delicious menus using a real focus on using seasonal local ingredients which also complements organic meat produced on Rhug Organic Farm.
Elliot has been Head Chef at the Rhug Bison Grill since 2013. Being a chef was not what Elliot had in mind as a career when he left school. Whilst studying a NVQ in welding and fabrications, he worked in a kitchen to earn some money and decided after qualifying that he would go back to college to learn how to cook as he enjoyed the fast-paced environment so much.
He now uses all of his experience to offer Rhug customers a chance to enjoy fine dining, combined with everyday hearty dishes.
