Welsh adventurer, Ash Dykes is not one to shy away from a challenge. From traversing the length of Madagascar, to walking solo and unsupported through Mongolia, this extreme athlete has achieved a lot for his 26 years.

When Ash met Lord Newborough at Rhug Estate Organic Farm here in Denbighshire, the pair had more in common than they thought. Both have a hunger for adventure that has taken them to places they never expected, where they faced both excitement and danger.

Ash ventured through near-impossible terrain and climbed eight of the highest peaks in Madagascar which saw him come up against bandits, the military and he even survived the deadliest strain of malaria known to man.

Quote from Ash Dykes North Wales adventurer

Lord Newborough’s ambition and sense of adventure took him to Sierra Leone to protect the natural fishing resource where he endured five years of dodging bullets from the drug cartel whilst trying to help the community make a living from fishing, and even faced death threats from criminals who were using fishing to conceal their illicit activities.

Ash is currently training for his third world first, and with training comes good nutrition, something both Ash and Lord Newborough have a great dedication to.
