The Rhug Estate near Corwen, Denbighshire, is delighted that Annie Thorpe has joined the team today as the new Marketing and Social Media Executive.

Annie will manage the Rhug Estate’s marketing and events as well as keeping customers informed of everything happening at the Rhug on its social media platforms – Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Welcoming Annie to the team, Lord Newborough, Owner of the Rhug Estate said: “I am delighted to welcome Annie as our new Marketing and Social Media Executive. Rhug is becoming increasingly popular for holding events as we are ideally situated in the centre of north Wales. We have good access from the A5, flat fields, catering facilities, a vast sheep shed providing wet weather protection and the conference facilities. Annie will manage events held at the Rhug and look to create our own in the future. Keeping our customers informed of what we’re doing around the Rhug Estate is also a vitally important part of Annie’s job.”

Annie, has moved to the area for the position with the Rhug. She now resides in Rhug Gardens after moving from South Yorkshire. She previously worked for InstantPrint.co.uk, an online company which produces marketing materials, as their Content Marketing Executive. Annie brings a wealth of experience with her having studied and done social media and event management all her working life. This fits in with Lord Newborough’s drive to bring further depth and strength to his management team at Rhug.

Annie said: “I’m delighted to be have been given the opportunity to work with the team at the Rhug Estate. It’s an exciting time to be joining following the announcement that Lord Newborough and the Rhug Estate has been granted a Royal Warrant of Appointment to HRH The Prince of Wales.”
