Rhug Estate is delighted to announce the promotion of Graham Webster from General Manager of the Farm Shop, Bistro, Takeaway and Drive Thru to the new position of Managing Director of Rhug Estate Limited.
Graham joined Rhug Estate in 2015 as the Rhug Retail Manager and was promoted to General Manager in 2016. Before joining Rhug, Graham was a Senior Manager with Waterstones running shops across Manchester, Cheshire and north Wales.
Lord Newborough, owner of Rhug Estate said, “Graham’s promotion to Managing Director of Rhug Ltd has been well earnt through a proven track record. He has strengthened that arm of the business since he joined the team four years ago and has taken on every challenge I’ve given him and turned them into a success story, particularly the new Drive Thru. I am confident that under Graham’s guidance the Rhug Ltd team will go from strength to strength.”
Lord Newborough currently employs 130 at Rhug Estate, with over 90% of the staff living within 10 miles of the estate. When Lord Newborough took over the estate in 1998 there were just nine employees.
Graham said, “My main aim is to support and promote Welsh and local businesses whilst offering Rhug customers the highest quality, organic, unique and essential items in all areas including the Farm Shop, Bistro, Takeaway and Drive Thru. We have recently signed up to Denbighshire County Council’s #LoveLiveLocal campaign which encourages people to use their local shops and services and share positive experiences of Denbighshire as a great place to shop and enjoy. We’re always keen to hear from our customers and learn from their Rhug experience.”
