Sadie Jarrett updates us on her three year PHD project about Rhug's history

Bangor University and Rhug Estate started work on a collaborative project in 2017 to explore the influence and significance of Rhug and Bachymbyd estates during the 16th and 17th centuries. The research is being carried out by Sadie Jarrett, a history graduate from Cambridge and Oxford Brookes universities who originates from Port Talbot. The Rhug Estate’s Bison Grill Bistro has launched a range of new summer menus this week which have been created by Head Chef, Elliot Knox, who has incorporated more homemade vegetarian dishes, new children’s menus, a selection of homemade breads and a wider selection of lighter bites.
