Rhug Estate welcomed children, staff and parents from Cylch Meithrin and Ti a Fi Gwyddelwern to the farm recently. The group of 20 were excited to see all the different types of animals on the farm.

Poultry Manager rewarded by Royal Welsh Society for 40 years’ service on the farm

Gareth Williams, Rhug Estate’s Poultry Manager, is celebrating a significant work anniversary this month having worked on the farm for 40 years. To commemorate the occasion Gareth has been awarded a Long Service Medal at the Royal Welsh Show yesterday.

​Santa set to visit Rhug Farm Shop next week to order his Christmas Turkey

Santa will be calling in at Rhug Farm Shop next week, whilst on holidays in north Wales, to order his Rhug Organic Turkey for Christmas. Staff are so excited with the news that they are planning to put their Christmas jumpers on even though there’s still five months until Christmas Day!

Sadie Jarrett updates us on her three year PHD project about Rhug's history

Bangor University and Rhug Estate started work on a collaborative project in 2017 to explore the influence and significance of Rhug and Bachymbyd estates during the 16th and 17th centuries. The research is being carried out by Sadie Jarrett, a history graduate from Cambridge and Oxford Brookes universities who originates from Port Talbot. Rhug Organic Welsh Lamb served at Queen’s Birthday Party Celebrations

Rhug Organic PGI Welsh Lamb will be served at HRH The Queen’s birthday party celebrations today at the British High Commission in Singapore. Eight hundred guests will attend the flagship event and will be served Rhug’s award winning organic Lamb Shoulder.
