Customers to Rhug can now buy delicious handmade ‘Melt’ chocolate – the first time they have been stocked in the UK outside of London.

Melt, which was founded in 2006 by Louise Nason, crafts fresh chocolates produced by world-class chocolatiers. The brand has seen its products sold around the world in countries including Kuwait, Dubai, Japan and Hong Kong.
Louise Nason said: “We are delighted to see our products being stocked in the Rhug Farm Shop.
“At Melt we create truly sublime chocolates using the very best ingredients in the world. We don’t use alcohol – a natural preservative that is often used by chocolate companies to extend a product’s shelf life – and we source only from companies with strong credentials for supporting the local economy and the environment.
“Melt is a leading light in the chocolate revolution. All our recipes are designed in-house by our Melt chocolatiers, which are some of the very best in the world.”

The Melt range at Rhug includes:
Sea Salt Caramel: An award-winning bestseller, Sea Salt Caramel is a butter caramel made in the Melt kitchen with fresh cream, light brown sugar and bourbon vanilla.
Salted Square: A cube of crunchy French wafer enrobed in smooth milk chocolate perfectly balanced with flakes of Maldon Sea Salt.
Praline Cup: An intense yet perfectly balanced combination of hazelnuts, flakes of Maldon Sea Salt and dark chocolate with deep red berry notes.
Pistachio Cube: White chocolate ganache, married with nutty pistachio and hand-dipped in silky milk chocolate.
House Milk Truffle: A feather-light truffle made using organic cream and silky milk chocolate, with a final coating of milk chocolate to create the perfect bite.
Single Origin Truffle: A wonderfully indulgent truffle made using an exquisite and very fine Bolivian dark chocolate harvested from wild cocoa plantations.
