As the golden days of autumn turn crisp and the nights draw in, a sense of warmth and celebration is beginning to fill the air at Rhug Estate. October’s Harvest Haul

The month begins with a Taste of the Sea Tasting Evening at The Bistro at Rhug Estate, our exclusive Seafood Evening on Saturday 11th October. Our Head Chef, Jordan, is preparing a special menu showcasing the finest fresh catches, paired perfectly with our renowned organic produce. It’s a culinary journey you won’t want to miss.

Later in the month, the estate transforms into a pumpkin wonderland for our popular Pumpkin Picking event, running from 25th to 31st October. Come along with the family and find the perfect pumpkin to carve your very own spooky creation. And on Thursday 30th October, as dusk falls, get ready for a night of frights and fun at our Spooky Evening—a ghostly affair for all ages!

November’s Creative Spark

As we move into November, the focus shifts to creativity and cosiness. On Saturday 15th November, you have two wonderful events to choose from. Get hands-on and craft a beautiful festive decoration at our Wreath Making Workshop, or treat your tastebuds to an exquisite Winter Tasting Menu Evening at our restaurant, where every dish is a celebration of the season’s best ingredients.

December’s Festive Cheer

The grand finale to our year is December, which is packed with Christmas magic. The highlight is our annual Christmas Fair, running on Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th December. With stalls from local artisans and producers, it’s the perfect place to find unique gifts. And for the little ones, Santa will be making a special appearance on both days!

On Thursday, 11th December, we invite you to a festive and atmospheric Late Night Shopping evening, complemented by a carol service at the beautiful Rhug Chapel. A truly special way to get into the festive spirit.

And to top it all off, join us for a final feast at our Christmas Dining Evening on Saturday 13th December, where we’ll be serving a magnificent festive meal to celebrate the season with friends and family.
